Melissa Landholm, LMT, AMTA


Melissa graduated from Omaha School of Massage Therapy in January 2006, at the top of her class and

has been enjoying a career in massage therapy ever since. She previously worked at Salon Gallerie

before joining the staff at Body Haven in 2008. Shortly after, the opportunity presented itself and she

became a business partner. She has been trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lymph Drainage, Tui Na, Hot

Stone, Active Isolated Stretching, Raindrop Therapy, Sciatic, Running Injuries, Cupping, Japanese

Restorative Massage, Foot Injuries, is a Reiki Master, as well as experience in Ortho-Bionomy, and other

modalities as well. She is currently working at incorporating Young Living Essential Oils into her

massages and has plans to become a certified aromatherapist in the near future. Besides her passion

for essential oils and their healing properties, she loves eating clean and learning about food and foods

healing properties. She is a tireless advocate for knowing what you are putting in your body, be it food,

pharmaceuticals, or the chemicals in the environment. Before becoming a massage therapist, Melissa

enjoyed being a stay at home wife/mom to 4 children, Craig, Erin, Mary, and Jay, and husband, Kent,

whom is her high school sweetheart. Once the kids were in school, she worked as an office

administrative assistant at TeamMates. She now has 4 perfect grand babies, 3 ½ year old Maddison Joy

and 1 year old Timothy Conor McCormick, a granddaughter on the way in July, Quinn Katherine

Landholm, and a grandson from other grandparents, 6 ½ year old Grant Davis Studt. Life is good!

Kathy Wheeldon, ASMT, LMT, AMTA


Kathy has been a working licensed massage therapist since graduating with top honors from the Omaha

School of Massage Therapy (OSMT) in January 2006. Before that, she enjoyed a long career in theatre

working as an artist/administrator at several Omaha theatres, including the Omaha Community Playhouse

and the Emmy Gifford Children’s Theatre. She then went on to work in the corporate world in sales,

marketing and advertising before indulging her passion for alternative and complementary medicine.
Kathyworked as a temporary therapist at OSMT and Oasis Massage & Spa, and has also worked with Avant Salon & Spa, Just Relax and Morningstar Center. She joined the staff at Body Haven 13 years ago, and became a co-owner when the business was changed to Body Haven Wellness Center, and currently,
Body Haven Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Kathy has had doula training and is certified in
Nurturing the Mother® Pre- and Perinatal Massage, which includes fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and
infant massage. She holds an Associate of Science in Massage Therapy from Herzing University's
Omaha School of Massage and Health Care, where she worked for four years as a teaching assistant in kinesiology and clinical palpation. In addition to Swedish massage, Kathy also performs Deep Tissue,
Thai Yoga Therapy, Lymph Drainage Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, Japanese Restorative Massage, Face Lift Massage, Hot Stone, Reiki at the Master Level, Tui Na, and Cupping for Massage.


In addition to her busy massage practice, Kathy is currently finishing up a 2-year plant medicine course
with the Prairie Star Herbalist Program, where she is happy to combine her developing knowledge of the

medicinal value of plants and nature, with her therapeutic massage experience. Kathy is an Omaha native

and, when not working with her clients, enjoys the theatre, spending time in nature, hiking, reading,

gardening, medicine-making, and spending time with friends and family. She has been married for 35 years to Steve, and is proud stepmom to Simon and his fiancée, Jo, and proud mother to Luke, Andy and
his wife, Dani, Peter, granddaughters, Mina & Ripley and her German Shepherd, TJ.

Rachel Wheeler, LMT, NCTMB, ABMP


Rachel graduated from Omaha School of Massage (OSMT) with highest honors in January 2010. Before becoming NCBMTB certified in June of 2010, she worked at OSMT as a temporary massage therapist. Rachel has enjoyed a career in the corporate world for over 5 years and looks forward to expanding into her new career in health and massage. She offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone massage, as well as Thai Yoga. She continues to expand her knowledge through self-studies and continuing education. She strongly believes that the benefits of regular massage help obtain and maintain a strong and healthy life. Rachel keeps balanced by taking a select amount of time to focus on all forms of health. Some of these include regular work out programs, running, yoga, and massage, leisure reading, daily meditation, and embracing the love and growth of her family, especially her daughter, Lylah.
